HussとMarkDultonが95年に始めた高級アコースティックルシアー。現在は、8人の職人が少量生産であるが、1本1本手間を惜しまず、他メーカーには見られない拘りの技法を用いてギターを製造している。

●安定した音色:木材のコシの強さは、安定しないものであるが、トップ材のしなりを一枚一枚計測して一定のしなりになるような厚みに削り込む。他には例の無い発想である。
●ハリのある音:25R(ラディアス)と表甲を極力アーチドにすることによって、ハリのある前に出る音が得られる。ネックの角度などのバランスが非常に難しい製造法である。
●ネックとボディの振動伝達:ボルトオン接合であるが、Spring Dowel Pinという3つの金属製のピンをボディとネックの接合部に採用することで、強度と音の伝達を向上させている。
●演奏性を高める完璧なフレッテイング:2時間ものフレッテイングワークと1時間ものセットアップで完璧なネックの状態を目指している。ここまで拘る職人は世界でも数えるほど。
●全てのモデルにアデロンダックを採用。本当の高級ギターにしか採用されていないアデロンダック(レッドシダー)。これは、アメリカのアデロン山脈でしかとれない特殊なスプルースで、国定公園に指定された同地では通常は伐採が出来ないが、年に1本出るかでない自然に倒れた木を使用している。これを全てのブレージングに使用。 |
